RTD chief looks to 2023 at Commuting Solutions meeting

Debra Johnson, general manager and CEO of the Regional Transportations, is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at the Dec. 7 membership meeting of Commuting Solutions. 

Johnson will speak about RTD’s outlook on community priorities heading into 2023, said Audrey DeBarros, executive director of the Louisville-based Commuting Solutions in a news release. The nonprofit Commuting Solutions pursues transit options to reduce congestion on roadways in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

The membership meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the 1stBANK Center, 11450 Broomfield Lane in Broomfield. 

The Dec. 7 meeting will also feature Jennifer Phillips, Colorado Department of Transportation’s assistant director of bus operations. Phillips will discuss transit service updates happening across the state.

Frank Bruno, chief executive officer for Via Mobility Services, will give an update on Via’s routes and services.

Following the program on Dec. 7, Commuting Solutions members can take a ride on Via Mobility’s state-of-the-art zero-emission HOP buses which provide public transit service in Boulder, DeBarros said.
