Twin Peaks celebrated homecoming on October 21, 2017, which was later than most homecomings in Longmont. The week was a very interesting homecoming week.

There were four men volleyball games: Seniors vs Freshman, Juniors vs Sophomores, Sophomores vs Freshman, and Seniors vs Juniors. All of them were during high school lunch time. The first game, the seniors won against the freshman, placing the seniors above the freshman in the seeding. The juniors won against the sophomores the next day placing the juniors above the freshman and sophomores. The third game was to place third place and fourth places; the freshman won against the sophomores placing the freshman in third place and the sophomores in dead last. The last game was the championship; seniors took first and juniors placed second.

Thursday was the day of the homecoming volleyball game (because Twin Peaks doesn't have a football team) ; Lyons vs Twin Peaks. Lyons won, but after the game there was a bonfire, where student council sold gram crackers, marshmallows and blocks of Hershey® chocolate in a bag, to make s'mores.

Friday was the pep rally. That was just to announce the homecoming royalty.

Friday night, student council and some volunteers spent 6.5 hours setting up the homecoming dance that took place Saturday night. The theme was Kentucky Derby. The dance had cake pops, a mini sandwich bar, dj and twinkling lights illuminating the dance floor. The dance lasted from 7-10 pm.
