St. Vrain Valley School District allows students to select the school they want to enroll in. Beginning Tuesday, open houses for secondary schools begin to answer questions about the many programs offered in SVVSD.

The open houses are designed to answer questions for families as their children transition to middle and high school next school year.

The middle school open house schedule is as follows:

“Choosing a school for your student is an important personal step in charting their future path. Toward this end, St. Vrain offers a diverse and extensive selection of rigorous academic and co-curricular programs that provide you and your student choice in selecting a school that best aligns with their interests and educational goals,” said Superintendent Don Haddad.

SVVSD has 12 high schools in the district. Each offers programming to support students’ future goals. Some high schools offer specialized programs such as P-TECH programming in which students can earn a master’s degree before graduating high school. All schools require students to complete 24.5 credits to graduate — the most required in the state of Colorado.

The high school open house dates are as follows:

Families can also visit open houses at the Career Elevation and Technology Center on Dec. 4 from 3:30-7 p.m. and the Innovation Center on Dec. 4 4-7 p.m.

Local charter schools will also be hosting open houses. The dates are as follows:
