25% bonus on efficiency upgrade rebates

Calling all Longmont businesses! Starting Jan. 1, 2024, Efficiency Works Business offers a 25% bonus on rebates for efficiency upgrades in key categories: water, lighting, food service, grocery, building envelope, cooling, and VFDs. Dive into water savings with eligible incentives for items like ice machines and commercial dishwashers. Act fast! To qualify for the bonus, upgrades must be completed and submitted by Nov. 15, 2024. Bonus funding is limited, subject to availability, and standard rebate caps apply. Check eligibility details at EfficiencyWorks.org.

Winter Walkabout Music Showcase

The annual Winter Walkabout Music Showcase (WWMS) will take place throughout downtown Longmont from 2-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. The WWMS consists of more than 50 music performances throughout 15 indoor venues – all within walking distance of each other in downtown Longmont. Rocky Mountain Rescue Group talk

Come learn more about Boulder County’s all-volunteer Rocky Mountain Rescue Group’s work — 200 calls for emergency assistance each year — its amazing and courageous volunteers, Leave No Trace guidelines, and staying safe outdoors during a special presentation at the Longmont Library from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24. This event is free to attend; registration required at LibAdults or by calling 303-651-8472.

Recreation Services is seeking alternative wellness practitioners, holistic healers, and vendors to participate in the annual Windows to Wellness Health Fair on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Ave. Sponsorship options are also available. Itty Bitty City: Friday Preschool Fun

Itty Bitty City returns on Fridays from 9-11 a.m. from Friday, Jan. 5 through early May at the St. Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave. Snow or shine, our toys are divine! Kids ages 6 months to 5 years have lots of room to run and play in the gym. Parents must supervise their children. Please, no older children. Cost is $4 per child or $34 for a 10-visit pass, which can be purchased online at rec.ci.longmont.co.us. No registration is needed for this drop-in program. Questions? Call 303-651-8404.
