The Soundpost Sessions, a Longmont-based organization that hosts monthly concerts, will present a live performance featuring Hannah Connolly and King Orchard tomorrow at 7 p.m. at The Times Collaborative.
The concert is part of The Soundpost Sessions’ SPOTLIGHT series, which is a “monthly listening room-style show that features full-length sets by two carefully-paired musical artists.” The concerts presented as part of this series always take place at The Times Collaborative, a coworking, private office, and events space in Longmont. Doors always open at 6:30 p.m., the first act performs at 7 p.m., and the show is scheduled to last until 9:30 p.m.
King Orchard, a Longmont-based folk artist, will open the show. His next album is set to release the following day, March 21. Connolly, a Los Angeles-based artist, blends wistful ballads with high-energy folk rock. The Longmont concert is one stop on her current Colorado tour.
The goal of The Soundpost Sessions is to “elevate the quality of music in downtown Longmont by curating intimate musical performances that inspire community connections.” A schedule of upcoming concerts that are part of SPOTLIGHT and other concert series can be accessed on their website.
Tickets for the concert cost $18 if purchased in advance and $20 if purchased at the door. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for purchase at the venue.
