Fraud
On Tuesday, 05-23-2017, Police were dispatched to the lobby of the Longmont Police Department located at the 200 block of Kimbark Street on a forgery. Police investigated and arrested one adult male who was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case closed.
On Monday, May 22, 2017 Officers responded to the 800 block of 17th Avenue for a report of a fraud. This case is under investigation.
A Longmont resident in the 00 block of Cornell Drive reported a theft and forgery of checks. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.
Theft
On Tuesday, 05/23/17, a report was taken in the 2200 block of 14th Ave. reference a theft. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
On 5/22/17, an adult female was contacted in the 500 block of S Hover St on the suspicion of shoplifting. The items were located on her person. She was issued a summons and released. This case is cleared by summons issued.
On Tuesday May 23, 2017 at approximately 9:19am, Officer's took a cold theft report that occurred on approximately May 15, 2017 in the 300 block of Main St in Longmont Colorado. This case is closed.
A Boulder resident reported the theft and subsequent use of her license plates after she left them in the care and custody of an auto dealership in the 700 block of South Main Street in Longmont. A suspect was identified and the case remains open pending additional follow-up.
Mittimus Arrest
On Monday, May 22, 2017, at 11:58am, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a Mittimus arrest at Longmont Municipal court.
Criminal Mischief
On Monday, May 22, 2017, officers took a call about possible destruction of property in the 2300 block of Santa Fe Dr. An adult female was issued a summons for the destruction. This case is cleared with a summons issued.
Suicide Attempt
On Monday, May 22, 2017, Officers placed an adult male on a mental health hold from the waterway area on closed.
On 05/23/2017 at about 3:14pm, Officers were dispatched to a suicidal male in the 1400 block of Hilltop Dr. The 12 year old male was placed on a mental health hold after making statements about killing himself. Case closed.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, May 22, 2017, at 3:21pm, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a warrant arrest at Longmont Municipal court.
On Monday, May 22, 2017, at about 10:38pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Hover Street on a report of a female banging on a business door. Upon arrival Officers contacted an adult female and adult male. After a routine query the male was found to have 3 active warrants for his arrest out of Boulder County. The male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail.
Burglary
On Monday, May 22, 2017 at about 9:41pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Nelson Road on a report of a burglary. Upon arrival Officers were advised the PR was missing a computer from inside her residence.
Animal Complaint
A Longmont woman was bitten by a kitten while bathing it in the 300 block of Cattail Court. The kitten was placed on quarantine.
Child Abuse
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at approximately 2:48pm, officers assisted the Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services investigate a claim of possible child abuse in the 300 block of East Mountain View Avenue. Three children were interviewed and it was determined that no crime occurred. The case is closed.
Attempt to Locate
On 05/23/17, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 block of Quail Road in reference to an attempt to locate request originating from the Louisville Police Department. A 16 year old juvenile female was contacted and returned to her parents. The case is closed.
Assault
On 05/23/17, an assisted living center called to report a suspected case of elder neglect in the 1400 block of Elmhurst Dr. An investigation was completed and there is no probable cause to substantiate the charges. The case is closed.
Injury Accident
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017 Longmont Police responded to an injury two car accident. An adult female driver was arrested for a warrant and was cited for traffic related offenses. This case was clear by arrest.
Weapon
On March 23, 2017 the Longmont Police Department investigated a disturbance that occurred in the 300 block of 15th Ave. This report is for information only.
