Menacing
On Saturday May 20th, 2017, at 11:53pm, the alert tones were activated for a call of an intoxicated man with a knife threatening others at an apartment at the 800 block of Grandview Meadows Drive. An adult male who had just bonded from jail earlier in the day was arrested and taken back to jail. The matter is cleared by arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, the Longmont Police Department conducted an extra patrol in the 700 block of Longs Peak Avenue. Two adult males were contacted and arrested on active warrants. Both males were transported to the Boulder County Jail on the warrants.
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, at approximately 9:02pm, Longmont Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 11th Ave and Main St. Upon contacting the parties in the vehicle, one of the passengers had a warrant. Case is closed, cleared by arrest.
Death
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, Police received limited information about a male who was possibly in Longmont and suicidal. Police later located a deceased male near the 200 block of Hover Street. Police are still investigating. Case is open.
Robbery
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, an adult male reported his dog being stolen from him by his ex-girlfriend. This case is open with suspect leads.
Trespassing
On Saturday May 20th, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1600 block of Main St on an adult male who was refusing to leave and needed to be trespassed. The male was uncooperative with police and was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail.
Animal Complaint
On Saturday May 20th, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1600 block of Willodene Dr on the report of a dog bite. A juvenile male was contacted and a report written. This case is forwarded to animal control for further follow-up.
Traffic Stop
On Saturday May 20th, 2017, at approximately 9pm, Longmont Police conducted a a traffic stop in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. Longmont, CO. An adult male was issued a summons.
Criminal Mischief
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a criminal mischief which occurred in the 300 block of 14th Place. An adult male reported two unknown juvenile males broke the windshields on his vehicles. This case is under investigation.
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, officers took a report of damage to the interior of a car in the 1400 block of Meeker Dr. Case is closed due to lack of probable cause.
Medical Assist
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, at approximately 11:29pm, police responded to the 1800 block Hover Street in relation to a drug overdose. An adult male was transported to the hospital. The case is closed.
Hit and Run Accident
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to an accident in the area of 4th Avenue and Terry Street. An unknown person driving a black SUV collided with a 45 year old female driving a small car. The suspect left the scene of the accident. Case closed due to a lack of investigative leads.
Vicious Dog
A Longmont woman was bitten by the family dog in the 1400 block of Ajax Way. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.
Theft
The Longmont Police Department investigated a theft in northwest Longmont. Case is closed.
Protection Order
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, Longmont Police took a call of a possible restraining order violation in the 2200 block of Tucson Way. A report was taken and the case is open and under investigation.
Auto Theft
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, a green Ford Taurus was reported stolen from the 900 block of Hover St. The vehicle was entered into NCIC/CCIC as stolen. At this time the case will be closed.
