Police Report: May 18, 2017

Domestic Incident On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at approximately 11:50pm, Longmont Police responded to a bar in the 300 block of Main St. Longmont, CO in reference to an assault. Upon officers arrival, they witnessed an unrelated domestic disturbance.

Domestic Incident

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at approximately 11:50pm, Longmont Police responded to a bar in the 300 block of Main St. Longmont, CO in reference to an assault. Upon officers arrival, they witnessed an unrelated domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation, one adult male was arrested on obstruction and resisting arrest charges, and one adult female was issued a summons for obstruction and resisting arrest charges. Case cleared by arrest.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 12:25am, Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident in the 300 block of Quail Road, Longmont. The case was closed.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, Longmont Police responded to 1500 block of Atwood St on a domestic violence incident. One adult male was arrested for domestic violence harassment.

Death

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, the Longmont Police investigated an unattended death. A male was found unresponsive near the river in the 1000 block of South Hover Road. The male was transported to the hospital but succumbed to an unknown medical condition. The case has been referred to the coroners office.

Stabbing

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Officers responded to the 4500 Block of Redmond Dr. on a report of an stabbing. One adult male was robbed and stabbed. The male was transported to Longmont United Hospital with minor injuries. The case will be closed due to no suspect leads.

Child Abuse

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Officers responded to a report of a child abuse in the 600 block of E. Mountain View Ave. A report was taken and forwarded to social services, the case is closed.

Sex Assault

On February 23, 2017, the Longmont Police Department received a case that occurred in the City of Longmont, from Lakewood Police Department. During the course of the other investigation this case was generated.

FDC/Crime Trespassing

On May 16, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded on a trespass of a vehicle in the 500 block of Lashley St. An adult male was contacted and placed on a mental health hold. This case is closed.

Suspicious Situation

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at approximately 5:40am, Longmont Police responded to a suspicious situation outside the Longmont Police Department. Upon further investigation, one adult male was placed on an emergency mental health hold. Case closed.

Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 100 block of S Main St in an attempt to locate a party with an outstanding warrant. One adult male was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was booked and then transported to Boulder County Jail.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 3pm, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a warrant arrest at Longmont Police Department.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Longmont police arrested an adult female at the Safety and Justice Center who was turning herself in on an active warrant. The female was booked per departmental procedure, posted bond, and was released with a new court date.

Auto Theft

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017 officers of the Longmont Police Department took reports of an auto theft. An investigation was conducted. The vehicle was located and returned to the custody of the owner. Case is closed.

A Longmont resident in the 2100 block of Ridgeview Way reported the theft of her black, 2013 Subaru Outback station wagon from the driveway of her residence. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Assault

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, officers responded to the 300 block of Main St on the report of a physical disturbance. Two males were involved in a bar fight. The victim did not want to pursue charges. This case is closed.

Theft

A Longmont resident in the 000 block of 3rd Avenue reported the theft of his vehicle's rear license plate. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Fraud

A Boulder County resident reported an unauthorized transaction on his credit card, which was issued by a Longmont bank in the 1600 block of Pace Street. The case status is closed due to jurisdictional issues.

An employee at a Longmont credit union in the 1000 block of South Hover Street reported a theft of cash via check fraud. Multiple suspects were identified and the case remains open pending additional follow-up.

Criminal Mischief 

Longmont Police took a report of criminal tampering at Crisman Drive. A suspect has been named.

Other Agency Assist

On May 18, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1100 block of Main St to investigate a stolen and recovered vehicle. No suspect information was available, and the case was closed.

Missing Person

A Longmont resident in the 1700 block of Antero Drive reported her 15 year old son as a runaway. The juvenile male was entered into the nationwide system as a missing person. This case will be forwarded to Detectives for information.
