Theft

A Mead, CO resident reported a theft of a license plate from a utility trailer while it was parked in the 100 block of Wetterhorn Way, Longmont, CO. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Warrant Arrest

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at about 4:18am, Longmont Police contacted a vehicle in for failure to display head lamps at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Terry Street. The driver, adult female, was arrested for DUI, possession of methamphetamines, an active warrant for her arrest, and traffic violations. The female was transported to the Boulder County Jail.

The Longmont Police Department arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant. Cleared by Arrest.

Information

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at about 2:50pm, Officers were dispatched to contact an adult female who lives in the 800 block of S Bross St about ongoing issues regarding the father of their daughter. Information report only.

Sex Assault

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department took reports of a sex assault that had occurred in Longmont. A report was taken. The case was referred to detectives for follow up, case open.

Injury Accident

On May 15, 2017 Longmont Police responded to East Ken Pratt and Zlaten Dr on an injury accident. An adult male was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody and transported to the jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

Fraud

A Longmont resident in the 2200 block of Pratt Street reported an incident of identity theft. The case status is closed due to jurisdictional issues.

Harassment 

On Monday, May 15, 2017, officers took a report regarding a possible scam via a match making app. Money was sent out of the country via wire transfer. There are no identifiable suspects in this case. The case is closed.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Main Street for a report of a harassment between two males. A 45 year old male was given a summons. Case closed.

Criminal Mischief

On Monday, May 16, 2017, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue on a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, officers found an unknown person broke a car windshield using a rock. Case closed.

FDC/Crime Trespassing

A Longmont resident in the 100 block of Mount Massive Way reported an unknown person illegally entered her unlocked vehicle while the vehicle was parked on the street in front of her residence and stole her wallet and its contents. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Domestic Incident

On April 22, 2017, the Longmont police investigated a possible domestic harassment.

On Tuesday May 16, 2017 at approximately 1003 hours, Officer's responded to the 100 Blk of Lincoln St, in Longmont Colorado for the report of a domestic disturbance. This investigation is on going.

Vicious Dog

A Longmont woman was bitten by a foster dog in the 2200 block of Dunbar Court. The dog was returned to the Longmont Humane Society and placed on quarantine.

Sex Assault

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at approximately 2:50pm, officers were contacted by a staff member at the Platte Valley Juvenile Detention Center. The staff member wanted to report that a juvenile claimed that they had been sexually assault in Longmont seven months ago. The juvenile did not want to discuss the incident at the current time and little is know about the suspect or the location the sexual assault occurred. The case is open.

Disturbance

On Tuesday May 16, 2017, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Sunlight Drive in reference to a report of a disturbance. A 44 year old female and an 18 year old female were both issued a summons for third degree assault and criminal mischief. The case is cleared by arrest.

Menacing

On Tuesday May 16, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated a Felony Menacing and Criminal Mischief that ocurred in the 1300 block of Martin St. The victim of the incident did not want to press charges. This case is closed.
