Photos: "No Kings!" Protest Occupies Downtown Longmont on April 19

"No Kings!" demonstrations occurred across the country on April 19, organized to protest against President Donald Trump's administration. More than 1,000 were estimated to have attended the protest in downtown Longmont, according to police.

On Saturday, more than 1,000 people gathered in the streets of downtown Longmont to participate in a protest called "No Kings," organized by the 50501 Movement. The protest was organized to express discontent with the actions of the Trump administration. It came two weeks after the "Hands Off" protest, also organized by the 50501 Movement, which drew thousands of people in downtown Longmont and hundreds of thousands of people at other protests across the country. Dozens of other "No Kings" protests occurred across the country on Saturday, as well.

Photographer Kenneth Wajda captured images from the protest last weekend.
