The League of Women Voters Boulder County and Longmont Public Media are teaming up on Oct. 5 to host two candidate forums at the Longmont Museum. The forums will feature candidates who are participating in the Colorado House District 11 and County Commissioner District 2 elections.

The forums will be separated by time. The candidates for the house seat will take the stage first at 11 a.m. followed by the commissioner candidates at noon.

Each forum will be moderated. The audience is encouraged to submit questions via note cards during the event. The cards will be gathered by volunteers and incorporated as they fit in regard to time. Questions can also be submitted in English and Spanish via an online form. Not all questions will be answered during the forum, according to The League of Women Voters.

The event is free and open to the general public. Spanish interpretation will be available. The event will also be broadcast live on Comcast channels 8 and 16, Facebook, YouTube, LPM’s website and ROKU app. A recording of the event will later be available on The League’s website and YouTube Channel.
