The Longmont Public Library is partnering with Supporting Action for Mental Health to support mental health through "Wellbeing Bags."

Two new bags were added to the Library's collection of Experience Bags, introducing a new category focusing on "living healthier, happier, better lives," states a press release from the Longmont Public Library. These bags are located on the first floor of the library, between the stairs and the elevator.

"These new bags, one created for families and one for adults, provide useful and relatable materials to help start the often difficult conversations about the importance of mental health, the symptoms of various mental health problems, and how those problems manifest in the lives of the sufferers," states the press release.

Included in the new "Wellbeing Bags" are movies, books, magazine articles, and information about how to seek mental health care.

According to the press release, "in the future, the Library hopes to add more Wellbeing Bags to the collection, on topics ranging from beginner meditation to urban farmsteading."
