Last Wednesday, a man was shot multiple times by an unknown person in Longmont, after he exited his vehicle in the parking lot of Grandview Meadows Apartments. The Longmont Police Department believes the man may have been targeted by the shooter based on preliminary police investigations. The shooting occurred around 8:59 p.m. on February 5 and the 27-year-old victim called the police to report the shooting. First responders came to the scene within one minute and provided care.
The victim was immediately transported to the hospital, but an update on his condition has not been publicly disclosed. The Longmont Police Department has not yet provided any updates on this case.
The shooting took place on Grandview Meadows drive just south of Nelson road. The police are asking for surveillance footage from the surrounding area near Grandview Meadows Drive, Nelson Road, Clover Basin Drive, and Peck Drive.
