Boulder International Film Festival

Named one of the “25 Coolest Film Festivals” in the world by MovieMaker Magazine, the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) brings films and filmmakers from around the world to Boulder for a four-day celebration of the art of cinema. BIFF has developed a reputation as one of the most influential young film festivals in the U.S., with an extraordinary number of new-but-unknown feature films, documentaries, and shorts that have gone on from early screenings at BIFF to significant box-office success and multiple Oscar nominations.

For the fifth year, the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is headed back to Longmont! BIFF showcases the very best shorts programs, documentaries, and feature films from local, national, and international filmmakers for three days, March 4-6, in our Stewart Auditorium. Individual film tickets for all Longmont programs are sold through the Longmont Museum.

Stroll the red carpet and enjoy live music, drinks and light hors d’oeuvres from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 4, as we welcome the Boulder International Film Festival back to the Longmont Museum after a Covid hiatus in 2021. Admission is free with your BIFF Longmont Pass, or your ticket to either the 3pm feature, 'Fiddler's Journey', or the 7pm showing of BIFF Shorts 1. Antonio Lopez: live in concert at the Longmont Museum

Antonio Lopez is a quiet man who has something to say. His music is like an onion. It has many layers, each one revealing something more. His adept guitar work and composition skills are never used in a showy way but rather like the spices in a delectable home-cooked meal. The result is a feast of emotions that is a delight to the listener. His acoustic soul and modern folk sound garners comparison to artists such as Amos Lee and Paul Simon. On March 3, starting at 7 p.m., the Longmont musician and songwriter Antonio Lopez will perform live at the Longmont Museum. Purchase tickets here
