The fast food chain In-N-Out Burger recently purchased land near the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard and Harvest Moon Drive, adjacent to Costco, for $1.84 million. The land will be home to a 3,860 square-foot In-N-Out restaurant with a drive-thru, with an additional 1,100 square feet of outdoor dining space that could accommodate about 112 guests. This will be the first In N Out location in Boulder County.
The restaurant officially proposed the Longmont location by submitting an early development application to the city in March 2024. This proposal was publicly discussed during a virtual neighborhood meeting held that same month. Longmont planning officials gave their blessing to a conditional secondary use site plan for the restaurant in November 2024, according to BizWest.
An opening date has not yet been announced by In-N-Out for their Longmont location, but according to BizWest, the restaurant’s construction timeline typically spans approximately six months once ground is broken.
The California-based restaurant chain opened its first location in Colorado in 2020. By the end of this year, more than a dozen In-N-Outs will have opened in the state.
In-N-Out Burger emphasizes community engagement and works with various organizations to strengthen local communities.
