Intercambio hosted their annual La Fiesta World Party on September 8, 2018. The event's purpose was to raise money to “subsidize the cost of English classes for over 1,200 immigrant adults throughout Boulder County,” according to a press release by Intercambio.
This year's La Fiesta was attended by over 1,100 people and raised over $35,000.
“There is nothing like it,” said Jenny Desmond, Director of Development for Intercambio. “This annual event is attended by people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds, it celebrates our community and cross-cultural friendships, many of which are formed through our English classes.”
