Due to the investigation of a suspicious item, the Safety and Justice Center and municipal courts have been closed by Longmont Police.
“We do not believe this is a deliberate attack on the building. We think this is a concerned citizen that brought something into the building that we're concerned about,” said Police Sgt. Matt Cage.
Longmont Police have closed 3rd Avenue from Main Street to Emery Street.
