Longmont Police are involved in serving a high risk warrant on Preston Drive. The police activity in the area has closed 17th Avenue between Alpine Street and St. Andrews Drive, according to an email from Robin Ericson, communications and marketing managers at Longmont Public Safety.
People in the area should expect traffic congestion and delays due to the large police presence.
Currently, no other information is being offered on the situation, however, Ericson said more information will be released later this evening.
