Main and Coffman streets in Longmont were lined with thousands of spectators, all waiting for a glimpse of what the Boulder County Parade had in store for them this year.
The Boulder County Parade has been an annual tradition in Longmont for 61 years. It is organized each year by the Longmont Kiwanis Club.
This year the Kiwanis had a goal to include more agricultural aspects to the parade. They did not disappoint. The parade included goats on leashes and in trailers, bee keepers and dancing horses.
The Longmont Marching band and the All District Marching band filled the streets will classics that had the crowd singing along.
The parade also included classic cars which lined Main Street in tows of twos with excited drivers and passengers waving at the crowd.
Dancers from several cultural backgrounds shared bits of their culture with the city as they twisted and twirled through the parade.
