A new health clinic in Longmont — Kōena Integrated Health, located at 620 Kimbark St. — is offering $35 sports physicals before school starts.
The physicals are offered by Yolanda Brown, nurse practitioner and co-founder, July 17-18 and July 24-25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointments are required and most major insurances are accepted.
The new clinic opened after 16 years of dreaming of the moment. Co-founders Lyndsey Cordova and Brown first met as surgical techs in 2007. Shortly after, the duo went on a road trip and created a dream of one day opening a clinic together.
The clinic offers a combination of Eastern and Western Medicine practices which includes medical exams, acupuncture, light, injection, sound therapies, aesthetics, yoga and Reiki sessions in the clinic’s garden, according to the news release.
