Christ Chruch International held a ribbon cutting on Friday, September 15, 2017, to celebrate joining the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC).
Scott Cook, LACC CEO, presented Matthew Spencer, pastor of Christ Church International, with a plaque to commemorate the ribbon cutting.
"It is a real honor to be here in downtown and I'm really honored that you all would spend some time with us today," said Spencer.
"All of our decisions are informed by scripture and so our reason for joining the chamber is found in the book of Jeremiah. It says 'Also seek the peace and prosperity of your city. Pray to the lord for it because if it prospers, you too will prosper'. We want you to know that we back you guys, we want this downtown district to flourish and to prosper, and we want the businesses and the families to prosper as well."
Christ Church International is located at 527 Main Street.
