A former school custodian in Loveland has been arrested following reports that he exposed himself to students in a middle school bathroom.

The Loveland Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident and is seeking additional information from the public.

Arrest and Charges

Charles Littrell, 85, was arrested on December 3, 2024, after an investigation into claims of indecent exposure.

Police charged him with exposing himself in front of minors, a felony offense.

His bond was set at $10,000, and he was released after posting bail.

Littrell’s arrest followed multiple reports from juvenile victims who had witnessed the exposure.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and are looking into any other possible incidents involving Littrell.

He is currently awaiting his next court appearance on December 11.

Incident at Loveland Middle School

The alleged incident took place while Littrell was working as a custodian at Lucile Erwin Middle School.

Several juveniles reported seeing him expose himself in a school bathroom.

Littrell had been employed by the Thompson School District at the time, working in various schools over the years.

Littrell worked for the district for nearly 23 years before his dismissal in November 2024.

His employment with the district ended after an internal investigation, which followed the reports of indecent exposure.

Authorities confirmed that Littrell was no longer employed by the district when he was arrested.

Investigation and Additional Victims

Police believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.

Investigators are urging anyone with more information about the incident to contact the Loveland Police Department.

The department has set up a tip line for anyone who may have witnessed similar incidents.

The Thompson School District has expressed concern over the possibility of unreported cases and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

After the incident was reported, Littrell was fired by the district, and further steps are being taken to ensure the safety of students in the future.
