SVVSD hosts STEM night

St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting a STEM night and Student Design Guild Showcase Tuesday night.

The event will offer STEM station where participants can meet tarantulas from the Butterfly Pavilion, fly a plane and create a game. 

"The event is an excellent opportunity for children and families to engage in hands-on STEM activities and discover new areas of interest," a news release stated.

Patrons will also be able to explore the different divisions of the Innovation Center including Aeronautics, Bioscience, Computer Science/Cybersecurity, Design and Virtual Reality, Entrepreneurship, Robotics and Studio/Video Productions.

Design Guild students will showcase their work from the spring semester. The Design Guild allows students to explore experimental learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom. 

The doors open at 4 p.m. and the event ends at 7 p.m.
