A second Boulder County wildfire, the Lefthand Canyon fire, as of 6:15 p.m. Sunday has consumed approximately 303 acres and forced the evacuation of the town of Ward and the areas north of Ward, Gold Hill and the 10,000 block of Lefthand Canyon Drive, according to the Boulder County Office of Emergency Management.
An evacuation point is set up at Nederland Community Center and livestock is being taken at the Gilpin County Fairgrounds in Black Hawk.

- Lefthand Canyon Drive (Nelson St.) at Peak to Peak Highway
- Old Depot Road at Peak to Peak Highway
- Humboldt Street at Peak to Peak Highway
- Lefthand Canyon Drive at Sawmill Road
- County Road 100 at Peak to Peak Highway
- Gold Lake Road at Peak to Peak Highway
