Rose Mary "Rosemarie" (Pimpl) Page Daehn May 13, 1928 – December 17, 2023 Rosemarie Daehn, age 95, passed away on December 17th, 2023 in Longmont, Colorado. She was born on May 13, 1928 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Martha Sophie (Hoppe) and Peter John Pimpl. In 1936 the family surname was changed from Pimpl to Page. Rosemarie had four siblings: Robert, Lorraine, Richard, and Elizabeth.
Rosemarie met the love of her life, John B. “Jack” Daehn, at the University of Minnesota, and they married in 1949. They were married for 63 years until Jack’s death in 2012. Rosemarie and Jack settled in Sidney, Montana where they raised their four children— John (Cassie) of Helena MT; Terry (Bill) of Sandy, UT; Mary (Jims) of Boulder, CO; and Jim (Julie) of Oak Creek, CO. Rosemarie was a stayat-home mom. After Jack’s retirement they moved to Boulder, Colorado to be closer to family.
Rosemarie was a talented seamstress and knitter, and enjoyed painting pictures and quilting. She was a devoted Catholic and was active in her church.
She is survived by her brother Richard, her sons and daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren with another one coming in February. A celebration of Rosemarie’s life will be held on January 20, 2024 at 10 am, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 3791 Pike Road, Longmont, CO.
