  Natalie Jean Stroh of Loveland, Colorado died peacefully with family by her side on the 20th of June, 2023 while in the gracious care of hospice. She lived 82 incredible years.

     She was born on August 19, 1940 in Sanger, California to Max H. & Bertha F. Geissler. The family moved to Iowa and then Kansas where she resided and attended elementary & high school years. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a member of various Lutheran churches in various locations over the years, including Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland.

     Following high school graduation, she attended the University of Colorado and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1962. In 1965 she received her Master of Science degree from the University of Colorado, and in 1967 received the Certificate of Nurse-Midwifery (CNM) from the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed the nurse licensing examination with distinction. She worked in various hospitals in Kansas, Washington, and Colorado, and in Community Health Nursing in Colorado. She was formerly an instructor at the University of Washington School of Nursing (Seattle), and an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley). She also worked as a nurse-midwifery clinician at Tri County District Health Department in Denver for several years. She had articles published in national nursing journals, and worked in nursing research.

     On December 23, 1971, she was united in marriage to Donald L. Stroh in Loveland where they since resided. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Donald, a daughter Kristen & granddaughter Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona, and a son Timothy of Loveland, Colorado.

     Natalie was kind, beautiful, humble, meticulous, patient, prepared, intelligent, generous, sincere, resourceful, and a wonderful daughter, wife, and mother. Her spirit lives on in all of the people and animals she crossed paths with, inspired, taught, loved, and cared for throughout her amazing life.

     A celebration of her life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church (815 E. 16th Street, Loveland, CO) on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10am with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
