Mary Ellen Moore passed away Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at Pelican Pointe Heath and Rehabilitation in Windsor, Colorado. She was 76.
Mary Ellen was born February 8th, 1947, in Boulder, Colorado to Hazel Lorrene (Hutson) Honohan and Thomas Honohan.
Mary married Larry Allen Moore, August 14th, 1964, in Erie, Colorado. They lived in Longmont for several years and then moved to Loveland.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a loving grandmother to her grandsons. She loved her grandsons with all her heart.
Mary was a avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche fan in her younger years. She enjoyed watching her favorite teams with family. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and loved having large family gatherings.
She is survived by a daughter, Hope L. McKenzie Johnson (Darren) her three grandsons, Robbie McKenzie (Melinda), Derek Johnson, and Cody Johnson. She is further survived by her two brothers James Hutson (Freda) , Thomas Honohan (Pam), and sister Debbra Albrighton. Mary is also survived by many nephews, and nieces.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Larry A. Moore, and two sons Allen Gene Moore and Leroy Gene “Lee” Moore. Also, preceded in death are her parents Thomas and Hazel Honohan.
