Linda Rose Weber Egan born December 27, 1952 in Pueblo, Colorado.  She had a heart attack on Friday, August 6, 2021 in Aurora, Colorado. She was survived by her sons, Bryan Egan of Thornton, Colorado, Mark Benedict (Kitty) of Del Ray Beach, Florida and a granddaughter Sarah of St Petersburg, Florida.  Three sisters, Karen Moore (David) of Lake Placid, Florida, Cheryl Price (Richard) of Aurora, Colorado and Tammy Galloway of Indianapolis, Indiana. As well as several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and 2 brothers.

Linda could walk in a room and immediately make friends. Her neighbors, Bobbie, Jonathan, Demmier and Donna became a second family. We always knew she was safe. She also had a very dear friend, Andrea.

She attended Central High School in Pueblo, Colorado, graduating in 1971. Later she received her degree in Business at Metro State.

She started working as soon as she was old enough at Chet’s Grocery Store in Pueblo, CO. Later she went to King Soopers in Pueblo and eventually transferred to Aurora, CO.  She worked at several stores in the Denver area and finally retired after 35 years.  After her retirement, she couldn’t stand sitting around and went back to work for Hallmark where she was working at the time of her death. She loved her job and consider everyone there as family. She loved her Hallmark family.

When she retired she became very active in her HOA. She became Secretary/Treasurer. She was in charge of the swimming pool, even though she did not swim. She was also in charge of the Clubhouse. She treated the Clubhouse as if it was her own living room. She was trying to find a way to raise money to buy new furniture for the Clubhouse.  To work towards this goal, they were picking up change around the property and would put their spare change in a bucket. If you are coming to her service at the clubhouse, feel free to drop your loose change in the bucket and help her reach her goal.

She was a loving and dedicated single mother. The best sister and friend in the whole world.
