Daughter of Karen and Lee Engle was born on August 9th, 1967, in Fort Collins CO. Julia lived and extraordinary life as a loyal loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend to many.
Julia passed away surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Karen Engle, father, Lee Engle. close friend Eric Vasquez, and the love of her life, Carlton Aragon.
Julia is survived by daughter Jamia Aragon and partner Jerome Barnes, Son Jovon Aragon and girlfriend Alexis Garcia. Stepchildren Nicole (Brandon) Weathers, Kara Aragon, Amber Aragon, Colleen Frank, and Nathen Frank. Her sisters DeeDee Engle, Tammy (James) Deherrera Niece ad nephew Josh and Sarah. Grandchildren Jamyah, Makayla, Anthony, David, Flora, Zavian, Braydon, Elijah, Isaac, Armondo, Javier, Domonic, Lilianna, Gracey, Mariha and Elias. Ted Heron, and all of the other people that called her mom and many friends and family.
Julia started out as a nanny in Boulder CO. Her love of children moved her to work at Ferguson High School in the daycare. Upon retirement she worked for many years and the Donut Haus. Julia spent the last three years caring for her granddaughter Jamyah who she loved with all her heart, they were inseparable.
She will be remembered for her warm smile, contagious laughter, good cooking, unconditional love towards all and the ability to make anyone feel special. There are not enough words to fully describe how special she was or how much she meant to us all. The world’s light is a little dimmer without her here.
