March 14, 1954 - January 15, 2022
Ilona Mae Maguire, age 67 of Loveland, CO, passed away on January 15, 2022 after complications from long term illness.
Loni was born on March 14, 1954 to Paul and Irene (Balog) Levar. She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, WY in 1972. She graduated from Casper College in 1974 with an Associates in Business Degree and from the University of Wyoming in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Her first job was with Gulf Oil in the finance department. She spent many enjoyable years as a filing clerk at Farmers Union Insurance. She loved to cut hair and earned a cosmetology certification, but only family and friends were ultimately the recipients of those skills and the women are grateful she could cut our bangs straight.
Loni could be seen regularly walking the Casper mall. She was outgoing and friendly, knowing all the shop workers. She had a warm, contagious smile that always radiated sweetness.
She enjoyed international travel in her younger years. Loni found happiness in her daily activities with bowling, swimming, movies, going out for a cup of coffee, playing cards, and watching sports, especially the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. Afternoon soap operas were a must and General Hospital was her favorite. Loni loved her trips to the casinos, with Black Jack her favorite game and rarely leaving the table without a stack of chips.
Loni was predeceased by her father Paul and a younger brother Dan. She is survived by her mother Irene, brother Paul (Margaret) Levar, sister Kate Von Loh (Justin) , nieces Leah Levar (Preston) and April (Lonnie) Marcum and families of those mentioned, and numerous, extended family.
