JULY 27, 1963 – APRIL 16, 2022

Gary Lee Laws was born July 27, 1963 in Fort Collins, CO to Mary Alice Nelson & Harold P Laws. He was called Home on April 16, 2022.

As the youngest of he was born & raised in Fort Collins. He graduated from Poudre High. He worked at Furr's Caferteria for over 12 years where he met his Soul Mate, Julie M Laws (Johnson) plus one. They married on July 19, 1985 & he embraced a daughter. Followed by two children. He was employed for the last 26+ years at Sam's/Walmart DC in Loveland, CO.

He loved his wind therapy on his Harley as well as camping - camping with his wife but really enjoyed when his girls & their families (5 grandchildren) would join in. He LOVED family gatherings - he didn't need a reason for gathering, he just wanted to be in their presence. He loved trying new recipes on his days off ~ He loved his food. He loved sharing ~ anything, but especially food. Some years back he really loved the game of golf, after heart surgery the game took a back seat. His newest love was his guitars. He shared that love of guitar with Cole his oldest grandson.

He never met a stranger ~ ever. A Man with a Heart of Gold. Always available to lend a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his Son ~ Nathaniel A Laws, his father ~ Harold P Laws, mother ~ Mary Alice Powell, and dad ~ Francis "Bud" Powell.

He is survived by his wife of 37+ years Julie M Laws, daughter Allison Nicole Schwab (Johnson) & her husband Brandon & their three children ~ Cole, Blayne & Maci ~ of Johnstown, CO, daughter Megan Danielle Lucero (Laws) & her husband Javier & their two children ~ Rylee & Bronsen ~ of Milliken, CO He is also survived by three older brothers as well as numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. He will be missed by a multitude of friends & extended family.

He will be remembered as a Loving, Kind, Strong, Endearing, Faithful Husband, Father & Papa...
