1953 - 2023
Diana Louise Koester was born October 18, 1953, to William Earl Robinson and Wynona Louise Robinson. She was the second of five children. Her older sister Vicki, her younger brothers William “Billy”, and David preceded her in death, and she is survived by her younger brother Randy.
She married Alan Andreae and had a son Justin Alan Andreae on December 14, 1971, and Celeste Louise Andreae on March 22, 1974. After divorcing Alan, she married Larry “Buck” Koester whom she was married to for 12 years. Together they raised Justin and Celeste. During this time, they also had 2 miniature poodles named Jock and Priscilla “Prissy” that blessed them with 19 puppies.
Diana attended cosmetology school to become a beautician and loved to help friends with haircuts and styles as well as perms. She loved to travel and garden at their family home in Louisville, CO. Her hobbies included collecting ceramic birds (the eagle was her favorite), and country dancing, which she taught her brothers.
In 1990 Diana had a heart attack which she recovered from but after a few years was unable to continue to work. In 2002 her son Justin blessed her with a granddaughter, Jada Andreae. In December of 1999 Celeste married Neil Ian Eft and blessed her with 3 additional granddaughters: Shaelyn Louise, Makenna Christine, and Abigail Delany. All of whom have survived her.
In 2002 Diana suffered an aneurism and subsequent stroke. Due to the difficulties following these health challenges she lived with her brother Randy for a period of time, before moving into assisted living. Her health continued to decline over the following years, and she lived out her closing days at the Broomfield Skilled Nursing/Adara facility in Broomfield, CO and passed away on August 5, 2023.
