Dennis (Denny) James Pearson, 68 of Longmont, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at his home.
Denny was born December 18, 1952 in Ames, Iowa, the son of James W Pearson and Beverly J Pearson. He graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1971. He also attended the University of Iowa. Denny spent the majority of his life in Colorado where he worked in the restaurant business. Denny loved music, sports, cooking, but most of all his family. He was an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. Denny loved everything Colorado and the Rocky Mountains had to offer. Denny is survived and lovingly remembered by his family. Mother Beverly Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister Kim Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA; and brothers Bill (Lissa) Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA; Jeff (Shelly) Pearson of Marion, IA, sister in-law, Linda Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA; one Aunt Karen Popelka of Ames, IA in addition to many nieces/nephews and cousins. He is also survived by special friend Christina Farmer. He was preceded in death by his dad, James Pearson; and Brother Donald Pearson.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life on August, 21, 2021 at Jones Park Lagoon Pavilion from 1-4pm.
