Carolyn was an avid baker and had friendly competition between other family members at the Larimer County fair each year with her best recipes she could muster up. In 2000 – 2001, Wal-Mart Corporation decided to conduct an employee’s only cookbook. Any employee with Wal-Mart could enter a recipe for taste testing. Carolyn entered three (3) different recipes and was one (1) of approximately 90 recipes that made a difference with her Chocolate-topped Almond Biscotti recipe being placed in the cookbook.
Carolyn became involved with bowling many years ago and competed in more than 30 Women’s National Championships with her sisters. She looked forward to every year’s tournament to see what part of the country she would be travelling to.
