Broderick Aaron Highberger born March 14, 1992, to Jeff and Sandy (Zwickl) Highberger at the Wray Community District Hospital in Wray, Colorado. He passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age 31.

Broderick grew up in Wray being the middle child of three boys. He attended school in Wray, and while in Junior High School he enjoyed playing all the sports, however in his high school years he played football for two years, lettered in one year, and played in one drama play in high school. He also was a Cub Scout. Broderick graduated with the Class of 2011 of Wray High School. After high school he continued his education at NWTech school in Goodland, Kansas for two years.

Broderick worked several jobs including the City of Wray for two summers, Slick Spot, Ace Hardware, Bonanza Ford, and he also worked with Tim Entzel, Justin Peterson, and Brian Bush. At the time of his death, he was employed with Chamberlin Concrete.

On September 2, 2021, Broderick married Falon Taylor Rodwell and to this union two children were born, a son, Bryant Thomas and daughter, Brielle Margaret Kay.

Broderick enjoyed four-wheeling, shooting guns, playing golf, and just hanging out listening to music with friends and his favorite race car driver was Dale Earnhardt.  One of his joys in life was watching the Philadelphia Eagles with family unless they were losing.  He loved living in the country, spending time with the family and where he had planned on raising his children.

He is survived by his wife, Falon; son, Bryant; daughter, Brielle; parents, Jeff and Sandy Highberger; brothers, Christopher and Nathaniel Highberger; father-in-law, Carl Rodwell; mother-in-law, Maile Kalinowski & husband, Ted; sisters-in-law, Kaylee & Lexi Rodwell; grandfather-in-law, Tom Rodwell; four uncles and aunts and many cousins.

He is proceded in death by grandparents, Ken Highberger; Bill & Pat Chapman; Ambrose & Joyce Zwickl; and grandmother-in-law, Mary Rodwell. Broderick will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Cremation was requested with a Memorial Service being held on Monday, January 15, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at the Wray United Methodist Church in Wray, Colorado with Pastor Lisa Nordan officiating.
