Bertha "Becky" Ellen Chrisman

Becky Chrisman, 98 years old of Loveland sadly left us on February 15th 2023, following a courageous battle with Dementia. She was born in 1924 at Pacific Junction, Iowa to Laurence Allis and Hazel Hyatt.

Becky married Monte Chrisman on January 1st 1943. She and her family moved to Loveland in 1956. Several years after moving to Loveland, Becky and her husband Monte founded Colorado Steel & Wire CO. a steel fence post manufacturing company. She also ventured into a business with her daughter Mary Aschenbrenner called Queen of Hearts in downtown Loveland, and found time to participate in Loveland’s Woman’s Club and Friends of the Hospital fundraising group for McKee Medical Center.

In 2000 Becky, Mary and Mary’s husband Dick had a home built, she lived there for 20 years. She enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wildlife their home had to offer until Dementia sent her to get special care at Seven Lakes Memory Care.

Becky was devoted to her church Chapel of the Interlude in Drake, CO. She deeply appreciated her special friend Bus Tarbox, who drove her to and from church every Sunday.

Becky is survived by her son Larry Chrisman of Loveland, daughter Mary Aschenbrenner (Dick) of Loveland, daughter Julie Bath (Doug) of Missouri, son-in-law Bob Tyler (Suzanne) of Fort Collins, sister-in-law Thelma Rice of Nebraska.

Grandchildren: Allisa Allen (Jim), Amy Aschenbrenner, Andrea Knight (Zerek), Alex Tyler.

Great-grandchildren: London Moyes, Reece Knight, Aiden Knight, Melissa Spicer (Jason), Lane Allen, Jess Allen, Tim Mathson (Alicia).

Great-great-grandchildren: Kameron Allen, Lillian Spicer, Nash Spicer, Kaylee Mathson, Addy Mathson, Max Mathson.

Becky was proceeded in death by her father and mother, husband Monte, daughter Anna Marie Tyler, grandson Michael Frank, brother Donald Allis, nephew Michael Allis, brother-in-law Earl Rice.

Services for Becky Chrisman will be provided by Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home of Loveland. Viewing on Tuesday February 21st 2023 at

10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Services begin at 1:00 p.m. and will follow to Loveland Burial Park.
