Union Reservoir will shift to summer activity schedule on Friday, May 28, 2001.
- Swim beach hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday
- Lifeguards will be present during swim beach hours.
- Information on day and seasonal passes can be found at https://bit.ly/union-fees-and-hours.
- Wakeless boating, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing are permitted on the Reservoir.
- Picnicking is available for drop-in or through full and half day reservations. Shelter rental information and fees are available at https://bit.ly/union-fees-and-hours.
- Fishing is available. Fishing licenses are required and a fish cleaning station and handicapped accessible fishing pier is provided.
- The dog beach is open; dogs may be off-leash and swim in this designated area on the south side of the reservoir. Dogs must be leashed in all other areas of the park.
- COVID-19 capacity, distancing, and mask restrictions have been lifted for Union Reservoir based on guidance from Boulder County Public Health.
- Camping is not permitted.
The reservoir can reach capacity between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on weekends, and the wait to enter the park can be up to two hours. Please plan your visit accordingly.

Seasonal restrooms in all city parks are now open, but drinking fountains remain closed per recommendations from Boulder County Public Health.
