Winter Nature Fridays at Sandstone Ranch
Families will enjoy an indoor activity and outdoor exploration (weather permitting) from 9 am-noon select Fridays this winter at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. Upcoming dates are Feb. 16, March 1 and March 22. All ages welcome! Fee is $5 per child each session with free entry for guardian. Thursday Nights @ the Museum are back!
Join us the Longmont Museum this Thursday Night at 7 pm for “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1968, PG-13). Charles Bronson is a soft-spoken, harmonica-playing gunslinger bent on revenge against a brutal assassin played by Henry Fonda. Featuring a musical score by the great Ennio Morricone. No-School Day Recreation Fun
Have fun with Recreation on St. Vrain Valley Schools' no-school days on Feb. 16 and Feb. 19! The Longmont Ice Pavilion, 725 8th Ave., will have extended open skate hours on Friday from 11 am-6 pm and Monday from 11 am-5 pm. The Climbing Wall at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Road, will be open from noon-7pm both days. Call 303-774-4700 or visit the Rec webpage for other amenity hours.
Bring these to Longmont Recycling Center!
Come bring your recyclable materials to the Longmont Recycling Center on 140 Martin St. New signs that reflect the facility's new name and City of Longmont branding will be added near the end of February to help you know what you can and can't recycle. Please make sure to bring your ID and most recent City of Longmont Utility Bill. Did you know you can recycle the following items at the Recycling Center?
· Rechargeable batteries
· Motor oil and cooking oil
· Hard plastic items and more!

Longmont Library Gardening Fair
Head to the Longmont Library for the 3rd Annual Gardening Fair from 1-4 pm on Sunday, Feb. 25, where you can connect with local organizations and businesses to learn more about gardening, ask questions and start planning your 2024 garden! The Library Free Seed Library will also launch during the fair. Community members are invited to take home up to six seed packets for free to start their garden, thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Longmont Library.
