NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF LONGMONT
**************************
The City of Longmont Recreation will be extending the available outdoor pool season, closing Sunset Pool after Sunday, Sept. 20.

“With the Governor’s safety guidelines in place all summer, available reservations to Sunset Pool have filled quickly. We made the decision to extend our operating season through September 20th in an effort to best serve our community,” says Jason Stolz, Recreation Supervisor.

To make a reservation for the extended season, visit the activity registration portal at rec.ci.longmont.co.us and selecting the COVID-19 Reservations category, or use the friendly quicklink https://bit.ly/sunsetcovid. There will be no admittance without a reservation. Due to capacity limitations, reservations must be made for all ages including small children.

Sunset Pool guests will still be asked to follow the general COVID-19 best practices guidelines including wearing a mask when not actively in the water, maintaining six feet of distance from others, refraining from gathering with others not in the same household, and exiting the facility promptly at the end of their reservation.
