Charter School Institute Board

The mission of the Institute Board shall be to foster high-quality public school choices offered through institute charter schools, including particularly schools for at-risk students.

for a term expiring July 1, 2026:

  • George Autobee of Colorado City, Colorado, representing board or public service experience, occasioned by the resignation of Maribel Obreque of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, appointed.

Cherry Creek Water Basin Authority Board of Directors

The Authority works to develop and implement plans for water quality controls for the reservoir and surrounding waters in order to achieve and maintain water quality standards.  

for terms expiring August 1, 2027:

  • Aditi Bhaska, PhD of Boulder, Colorado, to serve as a member with background and professional training in water quality issues, appointed;
  • Thomas M. Downing of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a citizen or representative of an environmental organization interested in preserving water quality with members who use the reservoir or live within Cherry Creek Basin, reappointed;
  • John Woodling, PhD of Grand Junction, Colorado, to serve as a sportsperson or representative of a recreational organization with members who use the reservoir, reappointed.

Colorado Human Trafficking Council

The purpose of the Council is to bring together leadership from community-based and statewide anti-trafficking efforts, to build and enhance collaboration among communities and counties within the state, to establish and improve comprehensive services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, to assist in the successful prosecution of human traffickers, and to help prevent human trafficking in Colorado.

for terms expiring December 31, 2027:

  • Rebekah Layton of Westminster, Colorado, reappointed;
  • Caleb Stewart of Greeley, Colorado, to serve as a member with professional advocacy experience, reappointed;
  • Honorary Meghan Saleeby of Greeley, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the judicial branch, reappointed;
  • Janet Drake of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, reappointed;
  • Evanne Caviness of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as a representative of agriculture, appointed;
  • Irma Jaimes-Alonso of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, appointed;
  • Meghan LaPorte Trujillo of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of an organization that provides direct services to victims, appointed;
  • Molly Stevens of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a statewide organization that provides services to victims of crime, appointed;
  • Bailey Thiry of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a regional or citywide human trafficking task force or coalition, appointed;
  • ​​​​​​​ReJeania Tolliver of Lakewood, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a statewide coalition for victims of domestic violence, appointed.

Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors

The Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors sets and administers policies regarding expenditures from the Colorado Travel and Tourism Fund for promoting travel and tourism and related activities that benefit the state.

for a term expiring June 1, 2024:

  • Vinay Patidar of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the tourism-related retail industry and small business, occasioned by the resignation of Wanda James of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp Committee

The Colorado Wildlife Habitat Stamp Committee shall annually review proposed projects for expenditure of Colorado Wildlife Habitat stamp funds and make recommendations to the director and the Parks and Wildlife Commission.

for a term expiring on December 31, 2026:

  • Ivan James II of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a  sportsperson, occasioned by the resignation of John Stark of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed; 

for terms expiring December 31, 2027: 

  • Julia Kintsch of Golden, Colorado, to serve as a public member, appointed;
  • Liz Rose of Denver, Colorado,  to serve as a  sportsperson, reappointed; 
  • ​​​​​​​Jonathan Proctor of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a national recognized conservation organization whose mission is focused on nongame wildlife and whose membership is composed primarily of nongame wildlife users, appointed. 

Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors

The Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors promulgates rules and regulations pertaining to the operation and administration of the Colorado Pinnacol Assurance Fund. 

for a term expiring January 1, 2028:

  • Mowa Haile of Denver, Colorado, to serve as an employee of an employer whose liability is insured by Pinnacol, reappointed.

Underground Damage Prevention Safety Commission

The Safety Commission shall advise the notification association and other state agencies, the general assembly and local governments on:  best practices and training to prevent damage to underground utilities; policies to enhance public safety, including the establishment and periodic updating of industry best standards, including marking and documentation best practices and technology advancements; and policies and practices to improve efficiency and cost savings to the 811 program, including the review, establishment and periodic updating of industry best standards to ensure the highest level of productivity and service for the benefit of both excavators and owners and operators.

for terms expiring January 1, 2027:

  • Kristopher Camblin of Holyoke, Colorado, to serve as a representative of rural electric cooperatives, appointed;
  • Carl Christian of Fountain, Colorado, to serve as a representative of special districts, appointed;
  • Natalie Donovan-Flores of Silverthorne, Colorado, to serve as a representative of investor-owned utilities, appointed;
  • ​​​​​​​Mitchell Pebley of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of pipeline companies, appointed.
