On Friday, November 6, 2020, Boulder County Public Health announced a tightening of regulations and guidelines for residents and businesses of Boulder County due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. As the County moves backwards from Yellow Safer-at-Home level 2 to Orange Safer-at-Home level 3, many of Longmont Recreation’s current operations will remain unchanged. In accordance with the new guidelines, our capacity will be reduced and any remaining indoor athletic games and clinics will be canceled.

Orange Level 3 Recreation Guidelines

As before, residents who would like to swim, workout, ice skate, or join a fitness class can do so by visiting the activity registration portal and reserving a day and time online (bit.ly/recreationcovid) or by calling Longmont Recreation at 303-651-8404. Reservations may be made up to 14 days (rolling 336 hour window) in advance. Those who already made a reservation for the next two weeks but under the previous capacity orders may receive a phone call of cancellation due to newly reduced capacity restrictions.

Visitors to any facility will be asked to follow the current COVID-19 best practices guidelines. Guidelines include maintaining 6 feet of distance from others not of the same household, wearing a mask, refraining from gathering, and exiting the facility promptly at the end of the reservation. Visitors are also reminded to arrive workout-ready.
