Join Outlaw Production Collective for a performance of live dramatic readings by professional actors of short excerpts taken from the top 10 most frequently challenged books in the U.S. from the past year. Q&A with the actors will follow the performance.

About Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week (Oct. 1-7, 2023) is an annual national event celebrating the freedom to read and the importance of the First Amendment organized by the American Library Association. Banned Books Week highlights the benefits of free and open access to information while drawing attention to the harms of censorship by spotlighting actual or attempted bannings of books across the United States.

About Outlaw Production Collective

OPC was founded in August 2013 and kicked off with our first original production, Long Pose. They've since collaborated internationally with many talented artists, musicians, production teams, performing artists, filmmakers and more.
