During the city council meeting held on July 25, 2017, city council members passed ordinance O-2017-42 to authorize the city of Longmont to lease Vance Brand Municipal Airport hanger parcel H-34a to new tenants.
Harry Jones, the previous owner of parcel H-34a, sold his hangar to Ms. Clodagh Stokes and Mr. Daniel Peters.
Leases at the Vance Brand Airport are prepared by the city attorney’s office and reviewed by the airport manager to ensure that the leases comply with all applicable local, state, and federal standards. Airport hangar leases do not require a staff presentation to the council. Once approved, the leases are handled administratively.
