Register for summer day camps
Longmont Recreation & Golf Services summer camps
Make memories with Longmont Recreation & Golf Services! Registration for the Longmont Summer Day Camp (ages 5-10) and Expedition Tween Camp (ages 11-12) opens soon. Operating out of the St. Vrain Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Ave., campers enjoy swimming twice a week, local field trips and weekly themed activities. Summer Camp at the Longmont Museum
Summer Camp at the Longmont Museum (June – July, ages 5-13) is filled with adventure and fun! Join us this summer to discover history, art, music, culture, science and more in these hands-on camps. Sign up for a half day program or stack two camps together with our free Lunch Bunch in between for a full day experience. Registration opens in February. Join the Longmont Sustainability Coalition
Are you curious about the City of Longmont's sustainability and climate action priorities? Join the Longmont Sustainability Coalition! There is no commitment; simply sign up and attend as many meetings as you'd like. The next meeting is from 5:15-6:45 pm on Thursday Feb. 8 on Zoom. Adults Creative Nights at the Library
Join us for a love-centric night filled with Valentines Day and Anti-Valentines Day crafts during the Longmont Library Adults Creative Nights from 5-6 pm on Thursdays, Feb. 15 and Feb. 29! No experience required for these free events. Registration is limited to 20 patrons each night and is open to those 17 years and older. Whether you need to pick up or drop off equipment, ask about income-qualified discounts, or simply want some face-to-face help while signing up for Longmont’s best internet service, just come downtown to 350 Kimbark St. and the NextLight team will be glad to assist you. The Many Faces of Roosevelt Park
Join Longmont residents and City staff for a tour through time as we highlight the many changes that Recreation Services, Roosevelt Park and the St. Vrain Memorial Building have undergone to reach their current form. Topics include the 1900s (Feb. 12), Parades & Events (March 6), the Memorial Rose Garden (April 8) and the St. Vrain Memorial Building (May 8). Fee is $10 per discussion.
