Rogers Road between Airport Road and Hover Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday.
Platte River Power Authority will be upgrading underground transmission facilities in the area. The work is expected to require the use of large excavation equipment, craning equipment and construction vehicles, according to a news release from PRPA.
The site of the construction is west of South Flat Circle along Rogers Road. Local traffic will be allowed to use the road during the construction — which is expected to end on Jan. 29 — however, some homes may only be accessible from either Airport Road or Hover Road.
