Five males were involved in a violent fight on Halloween night, and Longmont police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying them.
The assault took place at a Walmart Supercenter and resulted in significant injuries to a juvenile and an adult who attempted to assist.
In order to proceed with the case, investigators are currently looking for information regarding the suspects and their collaborators.
Halloween Night Assault Leaves Teen Injured
On the night of Oct. 31, five men reportedly ambushed a juvenile inside the Walmart Supercenter on East Ken Pratt Boulevard.
The attack happened at approximately 9:56 p.m., leaving the teenage victim with serious bodily injuries.
The incident has left many in the community shaken, as such violence is rare in the area.
An adult stepped in to try to defend the victim but was also attacked by the group.
Police described the incident as a coordinated assault, with all five men waiting for the juvenile to arrive before launching the attack.
Authorities have not disclosed whether the victim and suspects were known to each other.
Suspects and Vehicles Identified
After the attack, the suspects left the store on foot but were later seen fleeing the area in two vehicles: a Ford F-150 and a silver or grey SUV.
Authorities believe the SUV may be a newer model Honda Pilot, which could aid in tracking down the suspects.
Police also reported that two women, believed to be associated with the suspects, entered the Walmart before the assault.
While the women did not take part in the fight, they were seen driving at least one of the attackers away from the scene.
Investigators are analyzing security footage and witness statements to piece together the suspects’ movements before and after the attack.
