Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at about 5:20am, Longmont Police arrested an adult female in the 300 block of Baker Street on 2 active warrants for her arrest. The female was transported to the Longmont Police Department for booking and then to the boulder County Jail.
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 800 block of Ken Pratt Blvd for a disturbance in progress. An adult male was arrested on outstanding warrants and for obstruction. Case cleared arrest.
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at about 7:13pm, the LPD conducted a traffic stop at 9th Ave and Main St. The driver was arrested for two outstanding warrants and other traffic related charges. The case is cleared by arrest.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at about 12:34am, Longmont Police arrested an adult male in the 1500 block of Nelson Road for 3 active warrants and possession of a schedule II substance. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
The Longmont Police Department arrested a subject on a warrant at 9th Av/Kimbark St. Cleared by arrest.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at approximately 2:27pm, Longmont Police conducted a traffic contact in the 300 block of Kimbark St. An adult male was contacted for a traffic violation and was discovered to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody without incident and later released on bond.
FDC/Crime Trespassing
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 1700 block of Lombardy St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at approximately 7:23am, Officer's responded to the 1600 block of Holland Way for the report of a cold burglary. This case is closed.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at approximately 7:54am, Officer's responded to the 1500 block of Turin Dr in Longmont Colorado, for the report of a cold criminal trespass. This case is closed.
Hit and Run Accident
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 10pm, Longmont Police investigated a hit and run traffic accident in the 1400 block of Dry Creek Drive, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.
Harassment
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, officers responded to the 2500 block of Main St on a report of a woman being harassed by a male. Due to lack of suspect information the case will be closed.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, Longmont police received a report of a known adult male, making repeated and unwanted telephone contact with an adult female.
Other Agency Assist
On 5/23/17, officers responded to the 300 block of Main St on an assist for Boulder County Sheriff Department who had a deputy in contact with a disturbance. An adult male was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is closed.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, the Longmont Police Department was called to assist the Boulder County Department of Social Services with a case involving allegations of sexual abuse on a four year old girl by a male family member. The identified suspect and location of occurrence is in Loveland, CO. This informational report will be forwarded to that jurisdiction.
Child Abuse
On 05/23/2017, Longmont officers responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave. reference a report of a possible child abuse. Case is closed and unfounded.
Burglary
On Wednesday May 24, 2017 at approximately 9:08am, Officer's responded to the 5000 block of Bella Vista Way in Longmont Colorado, for the report of a cold burglary. This case is closed.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, Officers responded to the 400 block of Main St. reference an attempted burglary. An adult male was taken into custody and taken to jail, the case is cleared by arrest.
Drug Violation
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at approximately 10:32am Longmont Police investigated a Narcotic complaint in the 1200 block of Alpine St. A witness observed a possible narcotic exchange. An adult male was contacted as a result and issued a summons for open containers of marijuana.
Assist
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at approximately 10:44am, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Main Street on the report of an elderly woman who seemed to be confused. The adult female was taken into protective custody and transported to the Longmont Police Department.
Drunk
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, the Longmont Police investigated an intoxicated person of school property. An adult female was eventually taken to the hospital for medical care. There were no criminal charges, and the case is closed.
Vicious Dog
A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog in the area of Grand Avenue and South Main Street. The dog owner was issued a summons and the dog was placed on quarantine at the Longmont Humane Society.
Fraud
An employee of a Longmont pharmacy in the 900 block of South Hover Street reported an adult female altered a prescription for narcotic medication in order to receive a higher quantity than was prescribed. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.
Missing Person
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at approximately 3:55pm, Longmont Police took a report of a runaway juvenile. This case is closed.
Found Property
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, officer of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Main street for found property. A bag was found that contained a firearm. Case is open.
Suicide Attempt
On May 24, 2017 the Longmont Police Department placed an juvenile male on a 72 hour mental health hold in the 2700 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. The male was transported to Longmont United Hospital.
