The Longmont City Council Tuesday night voted unanimously to give a salary boost to Presiding Municipal Court Judge Robert J. Frick as part of Longmont’s efforts to move the pay of top officials to market.
Frick, who now makes $159,403, will be moved to $175,431 after the council vote. Frick was appointed by the city council in June 2016. Voters, last month, voted to retain Frick by a 70% margin.
The boost would move Frick to 101% of market “and be consistent with other city positions and compensation philosophy,” according to a city staff report to the city council.
