This workshop focuses on providing the community with a better understanding of what is human trafficking. Additionally, the presenter will discuss the A-M-P Model used to study human trafficking and explain the three elements that take place in human trafficking. Throughout the presentation, risk factors will be shared with attendees to provide them with the necessary tools to identify human trafficking in their community and help those who may be at risk, or those who may be experiencing it. Lastly, this workshop will illustrate the connection that sometimes exists between Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence.

NOTE: If you are in need of accommodations (such as sign language) to attend the Understanding Domestic Violence workshop, please contact the Library's Adult Services staff to make arrangements no less than five business days prior to the event.
