The Longmont Theatre Company announced it is delaying the opening of its newest play “I Hate Hamlet.” According to a news release, the cast has contracted COVID and the company “is taking precautions for audiences, cast, crew and staff to keep everyone safe.”
The show was expected to open on Jan. 26. It has been rescheduled for Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Additional performances are scheduled for Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. To replace the canceled shows LTC added performances on Feb. 8, Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Those who purchased tickets for the Jan. 26-28 shows will receive an email from the theatre company with instructions on how to exchange tickets for another show.
